Chocolate Banana Pistachio Sushi  Back to Recipes

Serves 4

  • 2 bananas
  • ½ cup melted dark chocolate (high-quality is recommended)
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • cinnamon, to taste



Peel both bananas and insert wooden skewers in both ends of each banana to hold while coating in chocolate.

Put melted dark chocolate in shallow container and rotate the bananas through the melted chocolate until completely covered. Set bananas on parchment paper and sprinkle pistachios over dark chocolate coating. Let the chocolate set.

Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and slice into “sushi” rounds, then serve with chopsticks for fun at your party! You can also freeze for a cool refreshing summer party treat.
