Cran-Pistachio Goat Cheese Pears  Back to Recipes

Throw a National Wine Day party like a professional with these eye-catching Cran-Pistachio Goat Cheese Pears. Twist off the cap on Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio and let the night begin, no corkscrew required!

  • 3 Bartlett pears, cored, seeded (for a less sweet but crispier pear, use Bosc variety)
  • 2/3 cup goat cheese
  • ¼ cup pistachios, shelled and roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • honey, for drizzling



Slice cored and seeded pears into uniform 1/8-inch thick slices. Put lemon juice in small bowl with pear slices and spoon juice over pears to keep pears from turning brown. Remove pears and set aside.

Spread a dollop of goat cheese on widest end of each pear slice. Press a few cranberries and pistachio pieces into the goat cheese on each pear. Arrange on serving dish. Drizzle honey across pears if desired. Serve with Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio.
