HONEY SESAME POPCORN SEASONING

Seasons 10 cups of popcorn

DIRECTIONS:

Put popcorn in large mixing bowl. Set aside.

Spray rimmed pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, heat sugar, honey, 2 tablespoons water and a pinch of kosher salt over high heat until boiling. Stir occasionally. When boils, turn heat to medium and let cook until sugar granules are dissolved and color of mixture is dark amber. This should take 5-8 minutes. Remove from heat, then stir in butter, sesame oil and baking soda.

Quickly drizzle this mixture over the popcorn in the bowl and toss until totally coated. Sprinkle sesame seeds and more salt on popcorn and toss until evenly distributed. Then, spread popcorn on pan to let the coating dry.

Before serving, break popcorn up into pieces and garnish with extra salt, to taste. Serve at your designer label Backyard Movie Night with Ecco Domani designer label Pinot Grigio.
