Hot Mulled Pinot Grigio Sangria

Serves 12

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup honey
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • ¼ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 4 star anise
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 10 cloves
  • 2 bottles Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio
  • 1 cup orange Muscat
  • 1 ripe pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 soft apple (Golden delicious or Macintosh work well), thinly sliced
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced and seeded
  • 5 tangerines, peeled, seeded and separated into natural slices


Combine water, zest, juices, and spices in saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let mixture simmer over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes to develop flavor and mull the spices.

Add Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio to the spice and juice mixture in one large pot and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Serve in mugs garnished with fresh fruit. Cheers!
