New Year’s Eve Party Poppers DIY

  Back to DIY Projects

  • Push pops (can be purchased at craft stores)
  • Paper or cardstock in fun patterns and colors to use for confetti
  • Hole puncher
  • Wrapping paper (we love black and white patterned paper)
  • Gold spray paint
  • Tissue paper
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Scissors

Use gold spray paint to paint the bottom pusher piece of the push pops gold. Set aside until completely dry.

Use a hole puncher to punch out confetti from cardstock and fun paper. To make this process go faster, stack a few pieces on top of each other and punch through the stack with hole puncher.

Assemble the push pops by putting the gold bottom piece into the top clear piece. Fill the top container portion of the push pops with the confetti. Cut a small square of tissue paper to cover the top of the push pops. Use small dots of hot glue to glue the tissue across the top of the confetti-filled push pops.

Cut wrapping paper into rectangles that are the correct size to wrap around the push pop so the confetti is hidden. Use hot glue to secure the wrapping paper around the push pops.

Give these party poppers to your New Year’s Eve party guests to celebrate!
