Sangria With Watermelon Ice Cubes by Gal Meets Glam

Serves 8

  • 1/2 lime
  • 4 strawberries cut into thirds
  • 2 peaches (1 white, 1 yellow)
  • 4 watermelon wedges
  • Handful of mint
  • 1 bottle of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio 

Muddle the fruit before adding the Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio


For the watermelon ice cubes:

  • 4 watermelon wedges without rind
  • Blend the watermelon first, then add:
  • 1 full peach (we did 1/2 yellow, 1/2 white) diced
  • 1 strawberry
  • Blend and pour into an ice cube tray. Preferably a silicone tray so that the cubes are easier to remove.

After pouring the entire bottle of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio into the muddled fruit, place in refrigerator for 1 hour.

After resting a few minutes, drop in the watermelon ice cubes and serve.
