Watermelon, Feta and Tomato Kabobs by Mary Orton  Back to Recipes

“This unusual combination is one of the most delicious, refreshing summer appetizers,” Mary Orton of the blog Memorandum says. “And with a chilled glass of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio, life just doesn't get better!”

  • Seedless watermelon sliced into 1 ½” cubes
  • Feta cheese cut into 1" cubes
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic reduction
  • 4" plastic or bamboo skewers



In order, thread one cube of watermelon, one basil leaf, one cube of feta, and one grape tomato on each skewer.  Arrange skewers either on their side or standing straight up, with the watermelon serving as a base.  Drizzle lightly with balsamic reduction and dust with sea salt and fresh pepper to taste.
