Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra launched their label in 2003, creating a unique collection that experimented with the tension between fabric, drape and silhouette.

Costello counts Madonna, Debi Mazar and Depeche Mode among his past private clients. He and partner Tagliapietra collaborated to contribute designs to touring shows for Bruce Springsteen and Nine Inch Nails.

Costello Tagliapietra was selected by acclaimed editor and stylist Arianne Phillips to be showcased in "Fashion Cream," a Phaidon Press book featuring today's influential fashion designers. The pair has received rave reviews in top style publications, including Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar.
