Mary Ping - 2005
Mary Ping developed a passion for design as a child, inspired by her mother's classic wardrobe and her grandmother's elegant style. Ping credits the two women with instilling in her an emphasis on quality, as evidenced in the exquisite construction of Ping's garments.
Today, Ping infuses her own sense of glamour into her designs, personally working on every detail, from fabric selection, draping and patternmaking to show production and brand identity. Top fashion publications, including Elle, Nylon, Paper, Time Out and Women's Wear Daily have showcased Ping's designs, which are featured at high-end retailers in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
Ping's collection has been displayed at Opening Ceremony, a New York-based design showroom.
