Tess Giberson earned her BFA in Apparel Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2000, the New York-based designer's first collection of one-of-a-kind pieces was sold exclusively at the Soho boutique Seven. The following year, Giberson presented a collection of intricately hand-crafted pieces, blending traditional tailoring with mark making techniques. Her designs were featured at Seven and Barneys in New York, as well as Tokyo's Deuxieme Classe and Hong King-based Shine.

Giberson personally creates all patterns and samples for her designs, staying true to the hand-crafted details that are an integral part of her work. Today, Giberson's collection is available at select retail stores in the U.S., France and Japan.
