To unveil the latest iteration of Designer Label, styled by fashion designer
Christian Siriano, Ecco Domani created a Palm Springs-like oasis in the heart of New York City’s
Union Square. Christian’s design was brought to life with brightly colored florals accented
throughout the venue, and his palm-leaf pattern decorated everything from the entrance pillars to
the bar and to the lush floral hedge wall that inspired dozens of photos to document the event.
In addition to getting a first look at the label, attendees were able to taste the Ecco Domani Pinot
Grigio Summer 2017 Designer Label on its own and in a refreshing cocktail with the “Palm Spring
Spritz,” featuring Cappelletti, orange bitters, sparkling water and a beautiful dendrobium orchid
garnish. Light bites including hummus, guacamole, calamari and fresh fruit both complemented the
wine’s flavor profile and further set the tone of a special gathering in the Southern California
city that served as Christian’s biggest source of inspiration.
After opening remarks and a few words from Christian, attendees soon
became an audience for a surprise fashion show moment that evoked the whimsical nature of both Ecco
Domani and Christian’s label design.
A parade of models dressed in Christian’s Resort 2016 collection, also
inspired by Palm Springs, gave way to a collective cheers to this year’s Designer Label, offering an
exciting moment to extend the conversation across social media. Kelly Framel of The Glamourai was on
hand to document the chicest moments for Ecco Domani's Instagram account.
